When compared with the previous reference architecture based on a server with the Intel® Xeon® processor E7 family CPUs, benchmark testing demonstrated a performance improvement of up to 173% in logical scan rate in a data warehouse environment. The testing also demonstrated consistently fast and stable performance in online transaction processing (OLTP) that could potentially be encountered.
